Maple is a versatile hardwood known for its fine, smooth grain and consistent texture. Its color ranges from nearly white to a light reddish-brown. Natural mineral or sugar streaks may appear and vary from piece to piece, often becoming more noticeable with lighter stains.

Maple is one of the most commonly used hardwoods in fine American cabinetry and is frequently selected for opaque finishes, such as Ultimo Tinted Varnishes, due to its smooth surface and uniform appearance.

Please note that when a Tinted Varnish is selected, some components of maple cabinetry may be constructed with MDF to achieve a superior, flawless finish. MDF is never used as a structural component of the cabinetry.
