Maple is a versatile hardwood with a fine, smooth grain. It ranges in color from nearly white to a light reddish-brown. Natural mineral or sugar streaks may occur and can vary from piece to piece, often appearing more noticeable in lighter stains.

Maple is one of the most commonly used hardwoods in fine American cabinetry and is frequently featured with opaque finishes, such as our Ultimo Tinted Varnishes. Please note that when a tinted varnish is selected, some maple components may be made of MDF to achieve a superior, consistent finish. MDF is never used as a structural component of your cabinetry.
