Maple is a versatile hardwood with a fine, smooth grain. Its color ranges from nearly white to slightly reddish-brown. Mineral or sugar streaks occur naturally in maple and can vary from piece to piece. These variations are more noticeable with lighter stains.

Maple is the most common hardwood used in the manufacture of fine American cabinetry and is most commonly featured with opaque finishes, such as our Ultimo Tinted Varnishes. Please note that some components of Maple cabinetry may be made from MDF when a Tinted Varnish is selected to provide a superior-quality finish. MDF is never used as a structural component of your cabinetry.
