Sandhill Crane on Oak is a mid-tone, warm ivory. This Tinted Varnish enhances Oak’s natural grain and texture, accentuating the wood’s character and producing a classic, refined look with subtle warmth and visual interest.
Red Oak is a strong hardwood with a long, linear grain, often displaying tiny rays, small pinholes, and tight knots. Its coloration can range from golden blond to deeper tones. Flat-sawn Red Oak shows a different grain pattern than Quarter Sawn and is a common choice for opaque finishes, including Ultimo Tinted Varnishes. When Tinted Varnish is applied, the grain’s figure shows through both visually and in the texture.
