Marshmallow Cream on Red Oak is considered a White or Off-White Opaque Finish. These finishes are highly desirable and found in a majority of homes in America. We recommend “cooler” tones for interiors with an overabundance of ambient sunlight and “warmer” tones for interiors with lower levels of ambient sunlight, in order to properly balance the space. We recommend ordering samples if you are unsure how a particular White or Off-White Opaque Finish will look in your home.
Red Oak is a strong hardwood with a long, linear grain, often displaying tiny rays. Red Oak, at times, has small pinholes and tight knots. Red Oak coloration can range from a golden blond to deeper tones. Red Oak is flat sawn, and shows a different grain pattern than Quarter Sawn.
